おやど紀伊国屋籠町が位置する長崎市籠町（かごまち）[Kagomachi]は、異国情緒と歴史、伝統文化が色濃く残るエリアです。
長崎を代表する伝統芸能「龍踊（じゃおどり）」発祥の地のひとつで、中国から伝わった雨乞いの神事に由来し、諏訪神社の「長崎くんち」で奉納される勇壮な郷土芸能です!「唐人屋敷跡」に隣接し、江戸時代に中国からの来訪者が暮らした歴史的なエリアです。

Oyado Kinokuniya Kagomachi is located in Kagomachi, Nagasaki, an area that is rich in exoticism, history, and traditional culture.

Kagomachi is one of the birthplaces of the traditional Nagasaki performing art “Jaodori,” which originated from a rain-making ritual brought over from China and is a brave local performing art dedicated to the “Nagasaki Kunchi” festival at Suwa Shrine! It is adjacent to the “Chinese Residence Site” and is a historic area where visitors from China lived during the Edo period.
